Big Blue Lobelia
Everything you love about our red native, but with beautiful lavender-blue flowers. Blooms arise on sturdy stalks with light green leaves in late summer. Just wonderful naturalizing in the perennial border, where it shines with other blues or as a contrast to late summer yellows. Great for those last-minute pollinators.
Gently self-seeds. Moist to average soils, so also grows well near ponds or streams.
Full-part sun. Height 18″. Spread 12″. Zones 4-8.
