Bear’s Foot Hellebore

Truly evergreen leaves last through winter adding interest to the garden longer than most other hellebore species. Leaves are one of the showiest of the hellebores, adding excellent year-round texture to the garden. Lime-green, bell-like flowers, often with purple edges, are held high above the foliage late February through June.

Full-part shade. Good drainage. Height 1-2’. Spread 1’. Self-seeds nicely to form a colony. Zones 6-7.
