Rohdea japonica ‘Galle’
$20.00
Narrow Leaf Omoto Sacred Lily
Omoto is a very special Rhodea cultivar thanks to its arching narrow leaves and more rapid division. The glossy, forest-green leaves enfold maturing red “berries” and light yellow-green florets that look like baby corn cobs. Low light requirements make Omoto an excellent houseplant, too.
Will create a slowly expanding clump in the shade garden and will tolerate dry shade once established. The orange-red berries and evergreen leaves make a festive winter display. Highly prized plant in its native Japan.
Full shade. Height & Spread 12″. Drought tolerant and deer resistant. Zones 6-9.
4.5″ pot
