Miniature Golden Sweet Flag
Brighten your garden with this miniature sweet flag. Slowly spreading, short, tidy chartreuse and gold foliage creates a soft, grassy texture and the brightly colored foliage is like a sunbeam in the garden. Great for edging pathways or in sweeps to create a gorgeous chartreuse glow. Absolutely fantastic in containers when paired with darker foliage. Because it favors moist to wet soils, it is an excellent candidate for use in rain gardens, a marginal plant in a pond, at the base of a downspout, or in other water management areas. It’s even evergreen!
Sweet Flag gets its name from the sweetly scented fragrant foliage.
Full-part shade. Height 3-6″. Spread 6-9″. Deer and rabbit resistant. Average to wet soils. Zones 5-7.
