Cliff Goldenrod
One of the best goldenrods for showy, ornamental gardens because of its attractive, broad green leaves and its arching stems that are covered with panicles of yellow flowers from late summer to fall. Cliff Goldendrod is clump forming and is not an aggressive spreader, so more companionable in the garden than other goldenrods.
Grows on cliffs, bluffs, and ledges in its native central US, so can tolerate dry soils. An important plant for the fall pollinators.
Full sun. Height and Spread 1.5-3′. Native. Zones 5-8.
