Salvia x jamensis ‘Nachtvlinder’
$12.00
Night Butterfly Sage
A new favorite salvia at the nursery! Velvety plum flowers with reddish tones bloom from June to first frost over dark green foliage. Exceptionally cold hardy and pairs beautifully with yellows (Euphorbias), corals (Agastache ‘Fruit Loops’), or chartreuse for an outstanding color display.
Very popular with the pollinators and hummingbirds. “Nachtvlinder” is Dutch for “night moth/butterfly,” which so describes this purple beauty.
Full-part sun. Height 2′. Spread 3′. Deer resistant. In northern climates do not trim September through May for best flowering and winter hardiness. Zones 7-10.
4.5″ pot
