Royal Bumble Salvia
A new favorite salvia at the nursery. We just love these deep crimson-red flowers with their purple-black calyxes blooming all season long for the butterflies, hummingbirds, and beneficials.
The glossy green leaves fill out to create a nice, moderate-sized shrub that fills in any sunny garden looking for a burst of brilliant color and “buzzing” activity. Cut back after last frost. Award of Garden Merit.
Full-part sun. Height and spread 2-3′. Deer and drought resistant. Zones 7-10.
