Stowe Away Mountain Mint

Loads of attractive nectar-producing flowers late summer to fall. A variety found by Doug Ruhren at the Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont, NC. This pycnanthemum is a more clumping variety that reaches about 3’ tall. Most excellent.

White bracts can be seen from a distance creating a nice show that can be viewed from afar. Particularly beautiful in part sun where the white bracts appear to glow.
