Leafy clumps of fan-like leaves are bronze green in spring changing to deep green with crimson-red edging as the growing season progresses. Spreads slowly to form a gorgeous groundcover.
Delicate, white star-shaped flowers on thin stems bloom in early spring. Excellent texture and color for the shade and woodland gardens–but soil must be evenly moist. Beautiful in containers, too.
Part shade. Height 8″. Spread 1-2′. Zones 4-8.
