White-Tinge Sedge
Looks can be deceiving! This sedge’s fine-textured, delicate, green foliage can really hold its own in a range of soil and moisture conditions in the shade. Mounding tufts produce tiny tan flower spikes with white margins in spring.
Looks amazing interspersed with low-growing native flowers (Phlox, Heuchera, Tiarella, Iris cristata) and is useful as a turf-like groundcover or “green mulch” in the shade.
Part shade. Height & Spread 1′. Native. Deer resistant. Zones 4-8.
4.5″ pot
