Bergenias are treasured as foliage standouts in the landscape and here’s a standout among bergenias that has 13″ (!!)-wide glossy green leaves with wavy, rippled edges. Absolutely beautiful as a woodland groundcover where it softens hard edges and adds dynamic interest.
Lovely white flowers appear in late spring to summer. Terrific in containers too. Goes dormant after frost.
Full-part shade. Height 26-28″. Spread 36″. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 5-9.
