Aristolochia fimbriata Seeds

Fringed Dutchman’s Pipevine

A more diminutive pipevine that happily hosts the pipevine and polydamas swallowtail butterfly. Medium green, 2-3” rounded leaves with lovely silver veining are produced all summer in great quantities ready to support swallowtail caterpillars. Exotic, yellow and maroon flowers look like curved pipes with a halo of yellow fringe. Groovy spilling out of containers and hanging baskets where the flowers can be fully appreciated or use as a groundcover. A great way to add pipevine to smaller spaces. Many pipevines are so big!
