This elegant beauty illuminates the woodland garden with its 1.5″-2″ fairy-white flowers and electric blue anthers. Petals are flushed blue at the back completing the swoon factor. Dark green, deeply divided foliage compliments all the flower bling. Simply amazing when planted en masse.
Full-part shade but can also take some sun so don’t be shy and try it around the garden for a classy yet naturalistic look, kind of like Catherine Hepburn. Blooms early summer. Height and spread 12-18″. Deer and rabbit resistant. Native to Western and Central China. Clump forming. Zones 5-9.
