Brighten your woodland garden even on the cloudiest days with this sweet flag’s tiny, tidy chartreuse and gold foliage that slowly spreads by rhizomes.to create a soft, grassy texture. Tiny greenish-yellow flowers appear in spring followed by berries mixed amongst the grassy foliage. Foliage is sweetly fragrant.
Great edging for pathways. Best planted in sweeps to create a gorgeous chartreuse glow. Absolutely fantastic in containers when paired with darker foliage. Prefers moist soils and avoid full, hot sun.
Full-part shade. Height 3-6″. Spread 6-9″. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 5-7.
