A distinctive, rare violet with deeply lobed green leaves. Charming little flowers are purple-blue with white throats. Native to the greater coastal plain of northeastern US. Its strong upright habit thrives in a variety of soil types. Considered an endangered species in some states. Can seed prolifically.
