This is the sweetest of the sweet. Grass-like foliage unexpectedly gives way to light airy blossoms of pale pink to nearly white flowers in the summer. It is a wonderful filler or steppable pathway plant, is beautiful spilling over walls, and is completely natural-looking in meadow gardens.
Full sun. Good drainage. Average to poor soils, including rock crevices and gravel. Height in bloom 12″. Cut back after flowering for fuller, thicker plants. Native to the Alps and Pyrenees. Zones 4-8.
