Nezu Jinja Strawberry Begonia

Named after a shrine in Tokyo, this extra large leaf saxifrage was collected by French nurseryman Cedric Bassett where it was spied growing in the wilds of Japan.

Each leaf can reach up to 6″! They are fuzzy, jade green, and dressed with beautifully patterned silver streaks. In the summer, 12″ flower stems are adorned with small white flowers resembling a flock of miniature white swans flying across the sky.

As with other strawberry begonias, plant in full to part shade with moist well draining soil and they will reward you with many pups traveling along the surface creating a pleasing ground cover. Height 6″ and spreading. Zones 3-9
