Salvia glabrescens ‘Autumn Air’

Autumn Air Woodland Salvia

Of all the Salvia glabrescens we grow Autumn Air has come to be the favorite. Clouds of white flowers with long sunset pink stamens and anthers begin blooming in early fall and continue for weeks.  The clean white softened by the sunset colors and purple kissed calyxes brighten up the shade garden in the most complimentary way.

Bred at Issima Nursery in Rhode Island from a cross between Salvia glabrescens and Salvia nipponicum. Thank you Ed and Taylor! We love it!
