Orange Solomon’s Seal
If you think you’ve seen all the solomon’s seal out there, think again. Here’s a most extraordinary vining solomon’s seal with abundant clusters of bell-shaped orange flowers in spring and whorls of narrow leaves ending in curled tendrils. These curled tendrils allow it to “hold hands” with neighboring plants or a trellis as its sturdy green stalks rise. Green berries in fall.
A superb addition to the shade garden.
Part shade. Height 4-6′. Spread 3-5′. Rabbit resistant. Zones 6-9.
4.5″ pot
