Eastern Smooth Beardtongue
Native to the eastern US, Eastern Smooth Beardtongue has pale purplish-white tubular flowers that appear in clusters May through July. Simple and lovely.
Easy to grow in rich, moist soils in sun, but will even tolerate some shade. Excellent addition to rock, cottage, and native meadow gardens. Active pollinator attractor.
Full-part sun. Height 2-3′. Spread 2′. Zones 6-8.
