Showy Trailing Oregano
This oregano makes low, semi-evergreen spreading mounds. In summer, the plant is almost covered in light pink flowers with large, dominating apple-green bracts, gathered in nodding clusters. Grows to 6″ tall, but its long arching, flowering branches reach out 1-2′. Ideal for hot, dry hanging baskets and containers, or rambling over rocks or dry creek beds.
Full sun. Good drainage. Dislikes winter wet. Deer resistant. Zones 5-9.
