Considered the best of the purpureum cultivars, Little Red has a compact form and striking wine-purple stems contrasted with forest-green leaves. 4-6″ flower heads of tiny pink-purple flowers bloom in mid-summer attracting an abundance of butterflies.
Low maintenance and manageable height make Little Red perfect for more small-scale borders and native gardens. Excellent cut flower.
