Bring subtle elegance to shade and woodland gardens with this cross between A. aesthusifolius and A. dioicus. It’s a more shrub-like plant bursting with soft, creamy-white flower plumes on bronze stems in summer. Plumes turn cinnamon-brown adding texture to the garden, or cut back for groundcover appearance. Fern-like leaves turn brilliant red in fall. Attracts pollinators, including larvae of dusky azure butterfly. Best in moist soils.
