Artemisia dracunculus sativa

An aromatic perennial herb with a mint-anise flavor. Use to make tarragon vinegars, and for Bearnaise, tartar, and Hollandaise sauces. Add to chicken, fish, and egg dishes. Makes a delicious herb butter for steaks, chops, vegetables, and grilled fish.

Full-part sun. Height 1.5-3′. Spread 1-1.5′. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 3-7.
