Dyer’s Chamomile
Fragrant fern-like foliage with golden-yellow daisy flowers July to August. The flowers impart a yellow color with an alum mordant and gold with a chrome mordant.
Dyer’s Chamomile is easy to grow in well-drained poor soils. Too much good soil can cause plants to flop. Deadhead to keep more flowers coming and prevent self-sowing. Good cut flower.
Full sun. Height and Spread 2′. Deer resistant. Zones 3-9.
