Allium hybrid ‘Windy City’

Windy City Allium

Dark glossy foliage surrounds one-foot stems topped with balls of dark rose-purple flowers. This petite allium is perfect for containers, dotted about the garden, or planted en masse where it will add a bright splash of color. One of my favorite things about this allium is that it is early to bud and slow to flower making for a long season of color with a big finale in late summer. Alliums make a good cut flower too!

Plant in a reliably sunny spot. Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Tolerates drought, but looks best with regular moisture.

Full sun. Height and spread 15″. Zones 5-8.

4.5″ pot
