Five Fingered Maidenhair Fern

One of the most beautiful native ferns. Light to medium green foliage arranged in fan like fronds is accented by dark, almost black stems. The foliage is so light it often appears to be floating on the air. Found growing in the wild in deciduous woods on slopes and in ravines enjoying moist, hummus rich soils. Native to midwestern and eastern US, except FL. Height and spread 20-30″. Zones 3-8
