Rose Curly Sedge
A very attractive, but useful wood sedge with bright green, narrow foliage that forms arching, compact clumps. Starburst flower spikes with rosy stigmas bloom above the foliage in late spring. A wonderful complement when mixed in with spring flowers, serving as an accent or, when massed, as a carpet of luscious green.
A good lawn substitute that can easily handle light foot track and a variety of soil conditions, from wet to dry. Native to the eastern US.
Bright shade to part sun (picture a forest’s edge). Height and spread 1′. Deer resistant and good for erosion control. Zones 4-8.
4.5″ tall pot
