Oh lovely, lovely. Arguably the best of the genus with exceptionally showy flowers in big sprays. Pink-purple flowers with golden anthers adorn this sturdy (upright) meadow rue in late summer.
Takes several years to reach blooming size but well worth the wait. It is gorgeous!
Sun/part shade. Average to moist soils. Height 4′. Spread 2′. Deer resistant. Zones 4-8.
