Gracefully arching, blue-green stems are covered with hundreds of tiny yellow daisy-like flowers late summer to fall acting as an important source of late season nectar for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

This species is often found in dry woodlands of eastern US forests. It is loosely clump-forming with long slender dark green leaves and a mild-mannered growth habit.

Full-part sun. Height and Spread 1.5-3’. Native to eastern US. Deer and drought tolerant. Zones 4-8.
