Summer Squill
A summer-blooming bulb that brings color to the garden when many other perennials have faded. Purplish pink flower wands bloom late summer/early fall over grass-like foliage. Beautiful planted in sweeps through the garden, in meadows and containers, and even in the lawn! Imagine sweeps of it blooming through the grass under a large tree. Gorgeous!
Full-part sun. Height 4″, spread 6-8″ in flower. Spreads by seed and bulblets. Great naturalizer. Deer resistant. Zones 5-8.
