Great plant. No bog needed.
Sky-blue flowers bloom June-frost on 3-4′ stems and sway in the summer breeze. Hummingbirds just love it, and occasionally you can spot a goldfinch on the stems eating the seed. It’s quite the acrobatic show! Looks great at the back of the border, as well as intermingling with other perennials and grasses.
Full-part sun. All soil types. Spread 3-6′. Zones 6-9.
