Broad, lanceolate deep green leaves held in mounds. Evergreen foliage lasts all winter. Cut back leaves in spring to refresh foliage and enjoy watching this member of the aroid family bloom. Soft yellow spadix-type flowers bloom low to the ground followed by brilliant red berries.
Full-part shade. Able to tolerate deep shade. Deer, rabbit, drought, black walnut resistant! That’s one tough plant! Height 12-18″. Spread 18-24″. Zones 6-9.
