Sweetscent
Dense rounded clusters of rosy-pink flowers bloom from mid-summer to fall on leafy stalks that have scented gray-green leaves. Happy to be a supporting player in the garden, but native bees, flies, and wasps are always on Sweetscent, which they find irresistible.
Found in the eastern US in marshy areas and swamps so rain and bog gardens, natural landscapes, and habitat restorations would be a perfect fit. Moderately salt tolerant.
Full sun. Prefers moist to wet soils. Height 2-4′. Spread 2-3′. NATIVE. Grow as annual or short-lived perennial.
