White tubular flowers with a light purple sheen bloom May-July in great abundance attracting honeybees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Low-growing, mat-forming growth habit is perfect for edging and interspersing throughout the perennial bed, keeping down weeds and adding beauty. Lightly self-seeds. A native to northeastern US, it is well adapted to our climate.
