Exotic orchid-like white and plum-lipped flowers bloom atop downy green, quilted foliage in late spring to early summer. The honey-scented flowers and foliage add to the appeal of this rare European native.
Its mounding, wavy habit easily fills in shade borders filled with ferns, hostas, and foxgloves. Moist, well-drained soil is best. Very pollinator and butterfly friendly.
