Cherry blossom-pink plumes rise above bright green, wide, graceful foliage in spring and again in fall–double the delight. A full but compact growth habit makes for a lush shade groundcover that’s also ideal for shady patio containers. Honeybee friendly.
Needs a few seasons to fill out, but well worth the wait. Native to stream sides and slopes in southern China and Vietnam. Introduced by Dr. Richard Olsen, US National Arboretum.
Full-part shade. Height 12″. Spread 18-24″. Zones 7-9.
