One of the most distinctive and attractive foliage plants for partial shade. Dark green, rounded leaves form a thick, slowly spreading clump of beautiful foliage. Leaves turn reddish-bronze from fall to winter.
In early spring, magenta flower clusters appear on red stalks. Use as a groundcover for shade gardens or as edging. Thrives in containers.
Full-part shade. Average to moist soils. Height 1-1.5′ in flower. Spread 1-1.5′. Zones 3-8.
