Pretty spring wildflower native to eastern North America. Shades of bright pink and yellow to deep red and yellow 2″ nodding flowers bloom May through June. Deadhead for another round of blooms. Attractive foliage forms lacy mounds for seasonal interest.
Will self-seed and naturalize to form a nice-looking sweep in any open shade or woodland gardens. Especially good for the hummingbird garden–they love it. Award of Garden Merit.
