A showy native sedge for the rain garden, bog garden or pond’s edge. Evergreen, grass-like foliage is topped by star-like bracts with long ribbons of pointed white “petals” with green tips throughout summer.
Tolerates a range of soils as long as consistently moist to wet. Native to wet, coastal areas of southeastern US. Spreads by rhizomes.
