Antennaria plantaginifolia
$6.00
Pussy Toes
Here at the nursery, antennaria is always a joyous sign of spring. Leaves grow at ground-level slowly forming a velvety, gray-green mat, while the stems rise up greeting us with white fuzzy flower heads tinged with pink.
This native groundcover thrives in dry, shallow, rocky soils, so put it where it will be most appreciated and happy–in rock gardens, along rocky slopes, and in open prairie areas. Spreads by stolons. Larvae host for the American painted lady butterfly.
Full sun. Height 6-12″. Spread 8-18″. NATIVE. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 3-8.
3.5″ pot
