Pony Tail Feather Grass

This fine textured grass is a must-have. Its foliage is feathery light and moves in the slightest breeze, shimmering and creating movement in the garden. Blooms late spring-early summer with silvery blond tresses. A cool season grower, it will turn an agreeable almond color in the heat of the summer.

Full sun. Good drainage. Height and spread 1-2′. Do not cut back–simply clean out old foliage with a stiff rake or fingers. Native to the southwestern US. Zones 6-9.
