Sprays of starry, clear white flowers bring lightness and airiness to the shady springtime garden. Medium green, heart-shaped leaves have red highlights in spring and turn deep crimson in fall. Terrific as a groundcover and edging, and grows happily en masse under trees. Winner of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit. Blooms mid-spring.
