Even though this tidy, handsome shrub has beautiful white flowers in late spring, it is best known for its excellent fall display. In late summer, clusters of bubblegum-pink berries form. As the season progresses, the berries turn blueberry blue while the foliage bursts into a mahogany and red display.
Full sun-part shade. Height 3-6′. Spread 3-6′. Multi-stemmed, rounded shrub. Attracts birds. Average to moist soils. No serious pests or diseases. Zones 5-9.
