Dragon’s Blood Clover
Clover-shaped green foliage has striking maroon centers. Leaves are red with more sun, greener with more shade. Look closely as many are four-leaf clovers! Pom-pom white flowers from May to June bring honeybees and other beneficial insects. Fast growing but still polite in the garden as a groundcover and in containers. Intermingles well with other plants like hostas and ferns. Excellent in containers spilling over the sides. Also good for erosion control.
Part shade. Height 3-4″. Spread 12-18″. Prefers moist soil in light shade. Zones 4-9.
