Tidy clumps of rounded, rich green leaves form an exceptional woodsy groundcover in moist, shaded gardens and borders. Greenish-white, bell-shaped flowers bloom late spring on 2’ wiry stems above the foliage. Flowers age to a lovely pink shade.

Native to western North America, so right at home along shaded stream banks, pond edges, and moist meadows, mixed in with ferns and hostas.

Part shade. Height 1-2’ (in flower). Spread 1-2’. Zones 4-7.
