This native orchid has fragrant white flowers arranged in a perfect spiral staircase arising from deep green basal foliage late August to September. Native to estuaries and marshes along the coastal plain, Pennsylvania to Tennessee, south to Louisiana and Florida, this beauty likes moist to wet soils making it a great addition to moist borders, bog gardens, and pond side.

Full-part sun. Height 12”. Spread 6-12″. Zones 5-9.
