Little Redhead Indian Pink

How often can you find a plant that has it all?

Indian Pink is one of those plants. It’s native, blooms in the shade, has showy red and yellow flowers June through September, attracts hummingbirds, and is long-lived. WOW!! These combinations don’t come along very often. In the wild, Indian Pink is found in low moist woods, ravines, or stream banks in partial or full shade, and will grow in average to moist soils in the garden. As with all good things, they take some time. Plants take several years to bulk up and emerge late in the spring (May), so don’t give up on them to0 early. They are worth the wait!

Little Redhead is an excellent selection that has a smaller, tidier, more uniform habit, ideal for garden designs. Consistently moist, well-drained soil is a must, especially in the sun.
