Broad umbels of lace-like white flowers bloom July through September over emerald green, fern-like foliage with purple tinted stems giving way to attractive seed heads. This long-lived perennial fits equally well as an elegant specimen plant or mixed with other perennials in the cottage garden. A host plant for the swallowtail butterfly and nectar source for pollinators.

Full-part sun. Height and spread 3’. Prefers moist well-drained soils. Zones 6b-10.
