A lovely, quiet addition to the shade or woodland garden. Upright stems have alternating oval, glossy green leaves. Dainty ivory flowers dangle like little bells in late spring. Round bluish-black berries complete the delightful picture. Perfect for naturalizing in a shady border, rock garden, or rain garden. A reliable, but slow spreader that’s also suitable as a groundcover.

Full-part shade. Height 6″. Spread 1-3′. Prefers moist soil. Deer resistant. Zones 4-9.
